In the pop world, it is hard to find anyone who is not completely superficial. Heroes Star Hayden Panettiere and V for Vandetta’s Natalie Portman are two celebs actually trying to make a difference in the world and they are both vegetarians.
Natalie Portman recently designed a line of vegan shoes in collaboration with Te Casan
with 5% of all profits going to charity. Unfortunately for me, it is only a women’s line, but hey it’s still great news for the planet.
Back in October of ‘07 Hayden Panettiere went to Japan to protest the annual whale hunt. Panettiere and a group of activists confronted angry fisherman about the barbaric hunt, which sees the murders of about 14,000 defensless dolphins and whales each year. Unfortunately the Heroes star failed to stop the massacre, but she has not given up her fight. Panettiere has launched this website www.panettierecloset.com
